Islamabad: The state-owned Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL) has announced a significant gas and condensate discovery at its Dars West-3 well in Tando Allah Yar, Sindh. The well is producing 9.70 million standard cubic feet per day of gas and 580 barrels per day of condensate, with pipeline laying underway to connect it to the KPD-TAY processing plant.
This discovery confirms the hydrocarbon potential of the Lower Goru Formation in the Dars West area, strengthening OGDCL’s resource base and supporting Pakistan’s energy security. The produced gas will be processed and injected into the SSGCL network, contributing to the national energy supply.
